I don't even know where to begin, but I can assure you: my day was AWESOME. I had the best time of my life, I truly think this was one of the best days of my life. I went to Puroland early in the morning because I didn't want to lose any precious time. From a distance, Puroland looks beautiful: it's like Disneyland, but smaller. A ticket costs 4400 yen (like 35 euros), pretty expensive right? But it was all worth it! ..When I entered Puroland, there were some Plush figures waiting for me, they were SO cute! Oh my god. I already saw a major Sanrio-shop, but I saved the shopping for last.Puro Village was magical, I simply can't describe it. Everywhere I looked, I saw the cutest things ever. I think I stood still for 5 minutes, I just could not believe I was actually in the world of Sanrio. I started with the 'Wisdom Tree', a big tree in the middle of the village. There were secret rooms and sound came from everywhere. I made SO many photos, really, I broke my record. I also asked other people to take pictures of me, I really didn't care what people thought of me. Some people were looking funny at me, and I fully understand that. Picture this: groups of Japanese children with their parents and one tall, grown-up man. But whatever, I felt like a child again, which was great.
After a while, I went to the Discovery Theater to attend Cinnamon's "Secret Door" Show. I have no idea what the story was about, but it was great to watch! The dancers were the worst I have ever seen, haha. But they had fun and smiled all the time, so I loved it. The show starred Cinnamoroll, Cappuccino, Mocha, Espresso, Milk en Chiffon. Don't you just love the names? I will introduce them to you in another post, OK? They are so adorable, I am particularly in love with Mocha. They all had a solo-performance. For example: Mocha did a fashion show, Cappuccino a hip-hop show with flying tomatoes and Espresso a cabaret show. In case you were wondering: Cinnamoroll is Hello Kitty's dog who fell down from the sky, it's a cloud!!
After Cinnamoroll's show, I enjoyed the Sanrio Character Boat Ride. It reminded me of the Droomvlucht (Efteling), but this time with my favourite figures. Therefore, this one was better. The Boat Ride takes you on a trip to the magical world of Sanrio, and it takes about 5 minutes. I have recorded everything, so please watch the video. (You may not like it that much, but do it for me Ok? Thank you !!). Everything was beautifully set up and I loved the music. I loved it so much that I took 3 rides! Haha, kind of embarrassing, forgive me!
There was also another show, but that one sucked. I only liked the leading woman, she was totally crazy. She danced as a moron, but that was really funny. Unfortunately, I can't understand Japanese, so I had no clue what the show was about.
After approximately 4 hours, I needed to shop! There were so many shops with so many things, that I got confused: what did I want to buy? Everything, actually.. But I need to get everything back to the Netherlands in 3 months, so I had to be careful. The shops were SO big, unbelievable. If I could live there, I would. When I am going to buy (or build) my own house in the future, it will be a Sanrio House. That would mean I am going to stay single for the rest of my life, because no one will ever move in with me, but that's fine by me!! Haha!
.. What did I actually buy??

- Hello Kitty Glow in the Dark
- Little Twin Stars paper & envelopes
- Little Twin Stars book
- Cinnamoroll towel
- Hello Kitty showercap
- Little Twin Stars bag
- Golden necklace with Hello Kitty Coin
- Cinnamoroll mug
- Sugarbunnies photo album
- Little Twin Stars Schedule book
I was just about to leave, when the Grand Finale Show began. All the characters starred and the dancing was great. They really tried their hardest and it all looked very professional. I don't know what to tell you about this Grand Finale, only that it was great (but everything was, really)..
After Puroland, I called my sister because she has an important exam coming up today, so all say a prayer for my big sister! But I know she can do it, she's smart =). Furthermore, I had dinner/lunch in a mall and read some magazines.
When I got home, I went to the swimming pool. It wasn't my kind of swimming pool: you actually had to swim. I never swim in a swimming pool.. I just have fun and do nothing, right? But whatever, I did what I had to do: swimming. I had to wear a hairnet, I looked so ugly, haha. But everyone did, so that makes it OK: I at least tried to work it (but I failed..). I met Yukiko in the pool, and we talked about my past few days. Tomorrow I will meet her at 10 AM, to discuss my further plans and to practice for the tea ceremony (Yes, it's going to happen tomorrow, finally!). We also have to fetch me a kimono, but she has 3, so that won't be a problem.
Well, I have to get up early and I need to wash my hair and get some sleep. I am exhausted after this amazing day!
Love, Steven
